It’s not common knowledge but a large number of eBay sellers consistently fail to read through their auction listings before they submit them to eBay.  Sometimes these spelling mistakes are deliberate and result from sellers trying to squeeze too much information in to the auction title (eBay limits this to just 65 letters).  However, more usually these typos are simply due to carelessness or a basic inability to spell correctly.

But why does this matter ?

Because unless someone searching eBay for a particular item happens to misspell their search word in exactly the same way then these misspelled auction items are unlikely to be found.
